PECULIARITIES:

Knauf Therm styrofoam end caps are used to close the fixing points of polystyrene foam panels. They ensure the continuity of thermal insulation by eliminating cold bridges in places where mechanical fasteners are used. Fastening the heads of the pins with additional insulating material eliminates the phenomenon of point condensation of water vapor. For this reason, the discoloration of the façade, commonly referred to as the “borage effect”.
